Sunroom Mood Board: St-Tropez in the 60s

As winter sets in, we’re setting sights to Mediterranean escapes and recently found ourselves in a wanderlust wormhole: the French Riviera and St-Tropez in the 60s-70s, where a tiny fisherman’s village transformed to the embodiment of glamorous holiday “joie de vivre.”
Today it exists as a sort of “myth” of St Trop — a meeting spot for international royalty, writers, and celebrities (notably centered around the iconic Le Byblos hotel and nightclub, opened by Lebanese billionaire Prosper Gay-Para) and sparked by Brigitte Bardot’s breakthrough role in the cult movie “And God Created Women.”
Ostentatious, yes, but still a welcome pop of color and frivolity on a gray January day...
