A NEW ERA AT SUNROOM
We feel so incredibly lucky to have the support of a community we love. We also love what we do. We've been able to write the rules as we go, choosing to keep our operations small and close, with space for creativity and kindness.
Even though we’ve been around for over a decade, it still feels like we’re just getting started. Our transition era is officially upon us and we’re here to share a couple of biggggg changes with you, starting with a new location for our Malibu store!
While we're ready to spread our wings, we're not moving far (at all). In a few months, we'll settle into our new Malibu home—just a stone's throw from our current spot. We'll announce more details as we get closer, but until then, you can find us in the same place we've always been.

In 2013, we opened Sunroom in a little jewel box of a shop on South Lamar. A year later, we were invited to join our friends on South Congress at the South Congress Hotel, where we helped launch the property, welcoming and dressing guests, locals, and those just passing through - and where we met so many of you!
We wanted you to be the first to hear that we will be closing our Austin location. Our last day will be Saturday, June 1st. While our physical Austin store won’t be here anymore, we promise we’re not going anywhere. From our Malibu hub we’ll continue to seek out your next favorite designer - we'll tell their stories and share their collections with you in our online shop, over text, in our newsletters, via stylish messenger pigeons...
(We also fully expect you to come hang with us in Malibu. No excuses, y’all!)
That said, we consider it an incredible gift to have landed in this magical city at such a perfect moment in time.

Austin, you raised us right.
You set the bar for the community we’ve built in Malibu. Today, both places feel indistinguishable to us purely because of the people at the heart of it all. Whether you’re an Austin local or Malibu regular (or a long-distance friend!), know that we specifically buy with you in mind; we think about where you're going and what you love wearing. We guess which styles you’ll politely pass on and which you’ll immediately make space for in your closet.
None of this will change.
